Job Title: HR Business Partner

Position Summary
The HR Business Partner will support the overall HR function with a specific focus on managing payroll, compensation and benefits, and ensuring the effective implementation of HR processes and systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and knowledgeable in HR best practices, labor regulations, and employee support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll Administration
- Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with statutory deductions and timely remittance to relevant authorities.
- Maintain up-to-date payroll records and resolve payroll-related queries.
2. Rewards and Benefits
- Administer employee benefits in line with company policy.
- Support the review and implementation of compensation structures.
- Coordinate performance-based rewards and incentive programs.
- Provide input on salary bench marking and internal equity.
3. HR Processes and Operations
- Ensure the consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS).
- Support the development and implementation of HR processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making.
4. Employee Support and Compliance
- Address employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and HR processes.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies.
- Support internal audits and provide necessary documentation.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR
- Proficiency in Excel, HR systems and payroll software.
- Strong understanding of Burundi labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in speaking and writing the English language.
